Taipei 101
Is a building with 106 floors, 5 floors underground and 101 above ground level, located in Taipei (Taiwan). The needle crowning its height 509 meters makes it the second building world's tallest skyscraper, Burj Dubai surpassed by located in Dubai.
Its construction began in 1997 and was completed in just over 6 years. According to its technicians can withstand earthquakes up to 7 degrees on the Richter scale with winds over 450 km / h. The ability to absorb important mass movement in this structure lies in a mass damper consists of a giant golden ball of steel weighing 680 tons made of metal plates on the floor 92 which is suspended over tensioning from top and subject at its base with hydraulic pumps, being the largest and heaviest in the world.

Well its kinda impressive, this show what humans can do if they propose it. BUT i think with that money the spent in that building they could do something to help the enviroment or something like that...
ResponderEliminarOh my God! its so big! there are like 112 floors, i like the way is design, its like gothic or something like that.. but i never would go up at the top of it!
